In May of this year we reported on the drastic redesign of Seattle's Best Coffee. Our super scientific polls revealed that out of 4,542 votes, 46% were of the opinion that such a big change was a bad move and 25% thought it was a smart one. In terms of execution, out of 4,524 votes, 35% thought the execution was bad and 24% great. The pendulum certainly swings to the negative but not too heavily. A big part of their relaunch was the notion of making coffee consumption simpler and more accessible

Established in 1890 with the launch of its first beer brand, Carta Blanca, Cuauhtémoc Moctezuma brewery is one of Mexico's main breweries along with its competitor Grupo Modelo, makers of the famous Corona beer. Cuauhtémoc Moctezuma's greatest hits include Tecate, Sol, Carta Blanca, and, probably the most well known in the U.S., Dos Equis (thank you most interesting man in the world). They also produce some of my favorite Mexican beers, Bohemia, Noche Buena, and Indio — as we
As one of the original ten teams in the inaugural season of the U.S.'s Major League Soccer in 1996, the Kansas City Wizards is one of the most established teams in the league, winning the MLS Cup in 2000. Originally named Kansas City Wiz (no ards and featuring a super retro logo at the time) the team changed its name in 1997 and last week it announced that it wasn't messing with iterations of the word wizard anymore and instead it was changing to Sporting Kansas City. This coincides with the mov

Since its launch in early 2007 Google's Gmail service has become one of the most popular online e-mail programs offering whale-sized storage allowing users to keep e-mails in the realm of gigabytes, whereas its competition early on allowed for mere megabytes. I tried to find the number of Gmail users but found conflicting information: It's either 170 million users or 36 million. Either way, that's a lot of. Earlier this week, Gmail made some changes to its log-in page as well as some tweaks to i
If the sale of the Brand New Conference videos offended you, this might make you feel like I just danced the Macarena on your great-grandparents' grave — if so, vent in the comments, you know you want to. If not, read on. We have about 150 goodie bags left from the conference and we thought someone out there might be interested in getting them for a small sum of money. The goodie bag itself is a 16 × 12 × 6-inch tote that I just used to carry a good deal of groceries and worked

We received a lot of requests to review the logo currently adorning the header of the website of apparel, accessory and hipness retailer Urban Outfitters (UO) and as much as I hesitated to post it I think it's worth getting it out of our system.
