We are so excited to announce our new website, now in beta. InYoHood.com is a new community-focused website that helps to inspire and connect artists locally and promote in-person networking.

We feel that the power of local connections between like-minded artists has been neglected. InYoHood.com gives artists the ability to share their work, find inspiration, and spark networking opportunities down to the local level with real people you can meet and have a beer or cup of coffee with.

How it works

Signing up for the site and sharing images of your work takes only seconds. Finding local artists is based on zip code. After entering your zip code, the site creates roughly a 50-mile radius, introducing you artists in your area.

InYoHood welcomes graphic designers, web designers, UI/UX designers, illustrators, photographers, fashion designers, painters, street artists and anyone else that can share their art with images.

The more artists around you that join the bigger YoHood will get, so help us spread the word!

Some of the The Main Features Include:

Show off your work

InYoHood allows artists to display up to five pieces of work at a time. Why did we set a limit? We want to encourage you to frequent the site and update your portfolio as you create new work. The more your profile gets updated with new images, the more your work will be front and center in the image grid. Older work will keep getting pushed down the grid, so updating your portfolio often is a good way to be discovered.

Discover new artists

The more artists that join around you the more you will have exposure too. You can browse the gallery for inspiration or search the artist directory by profession such as web designer, graphic designer, photographer etc.

Artist bios

You can enter a short bio about yourself and your work, and preferred methods of contact such as Twitter, Facebook, their website or blog.

Wall Posts

We wanted to give artists more ways to communicate that go beyond comments. InYoHood allows you to create wall posts that everyone InYoHood can see. Some of the wall post categories are: Feedback Requests, Classifieds, Job postings, Meetups, Assistance, and Off Topic.

Currently the site supports only U.S. zip codes, but plans are in place to expand to other countries and regions such as Canada, Europe, South America and others.
