Being involved with a team that is redesigning a product configurator for the last 2 months, I have managed to bookmark a few product configurators during my research, and decided to make an inspirational and hopefully fun post out of them.

Hope you enjoy the list, and spend hours making your own kick-ass superhero!

I am sure there is a ton more out there, feel free to share links to your favorites in the comments area!

I am looking to great a website for a product that is configured similar to the product shown on this page. Would you have more information as to wher, how and what tools are used to create these sites.
thanks

@Jean Marc
Most of these configurators are using flash/flex technology to bring a more interactive element to the design process of these product. But you could use Javascript nowadays to achieve similar results.

Also, a lot of these configurators are using Adobe’s Scene7 technology for the live previews (eg. when you make a selection you see the change live on the product).

Hope this helps.
